I haven't been to the La Kermesse festival in over 25 years! I really enjoyed it when I went; I'm half French-Canadian by heritage, and have some family in Biddeford/Saco.

I lived at CV for five years (2007-2012); we ultimately moved out because we bought our first house, and living there was economical for us at the time to stash money for our down payment. We paid around $975/month for a 2-bed, 1-bath third-floor corner unit.
Experience living there was fine. It got the job done. We had some noisy neighbors for a couple of years and there was a squirrel problem in the attic, but other than that it was, like I said, fine.

Parker's Maple Barn in Mason/Brookline has a gift shop - plus you get a good breakfast. Browse the gift shop while waiting for your table. 😀

Maryann's in Derry, Midfield Cafe in Nashua, and Parker's Maple Barn in Brookline if you don't mind a 2-hour wait.

Hudson or Litchfield would be worth looking at, I think.

Far-Far's Ice Cream - I grew up in Amherst and remember this happened. Late '80s/early '90s, if I recall.

MT's Local Kitchen in downtown Nashua. It's phenomenal.
