Red are the only ones which fit my ears well, the rest sound like crap. Except for the blue ones, which are marginally worse than the red for me.

If that keeps you happy, great. As for me, streaming allows me to learn about and enjoy a lot more music than ever before (I have been alive for quite a while now), and a lot more than I could afford to buy on physical media - especially older stuff, classic rock, jazz of the bop/cool/fusion eras, and so on.

Well aren't you missing out by not having access to any music other than what you have been able to obtain as files?

Actually all the TWS I have used were significantly below $100 and were/are still good enough for me - though take into account that my hearing is somewhat fucked due to old age, and now tinnitus apparently triggered by covid.

EDIT: currently using Creative Outlier Air V3 as my everyday outdoor gear. Decent sound, unfortunately the ANC is a joke. Paid equiv. of $40.

I'm actually somewhat puzzled by the fact that I still see loads of people using wired earbuds in the street or on the subway, given that pretty good quality tws have become quite affordable. I'd estimate that it's about even between wired and wireless, though I haven't tried counting.

Myself, I use tws exclusively on the go, and either a wireless headphone or a wired iem when at home, depending on what better suits the music I want to listen to.

EDIT: what I mainly meant to say is that I'm surprised there's still a market for cheap low quality wired earbuds, which are most of those I see people using on the go. It's very rare to see someone using what looks like a premium iem outdoors. I'm not addressing the issue of the hifi market segment.

The cable I got with mine has no markings. I got a variant called "Mecha edition" for some reason, so maybe that's why.

The shells do have markings, but it's not hard to tell left from right by the shape anyway.

I used a song where I knew which side the bass was coming from as a reference to figure it out.

Btw I ordered an extra cable with a mike together with the IEMs, and it doesn't have any L/R marks either. Bought from the Linsoul website.

With the zeroes, how do you figure out which wire is the left channel and which is the right?

Oh and with the stock cable I found no way to figure out which wire was channel left and which was right other than comparing with my TWS as a reference.

Idk, I find them sounding clear and detailed, but the bass is kinda recessed and the trebles are a touch too strong. Maybe it's the Dolby Atmos processing on my phone, I should tinker with that a little.
