I’d say your best bet is to look into Scituate EMS or Chepachet or some other type of town that has its own EMS service. The private ambulance services typically suck but I know some people have had good luck at “Professional ambulance”. When you can I’d apply to full time fire departments that also do EMS usually the only prerequisite is your physical test and EMT-B. No one is applying anymore for these jobs so if you have your emt your ahead of the game.

I mean no one will physically restrain me from leaving work but if I did leave I would be placed on leave and then fired. Also could be held legally accountable for my actions.

Tbf, I’m a firefighter emt in the state and I’m forced to work tonight, like I can’t leave and am held against my will. Jobs gotta run but I’m making about $35/hr tonight- ot rate.

Weird I had this today. Woke up to sharp stomach pains and 💩. Has to call out sick, passed out on the couch. I had the chills and a bad headache. Feeling better now after 12 hours. My wife had the same thing a few days ago and her friend as well.

For practicality I will wear a Columbia down jacket but if I’m going out or want to look less like I’m going hiking I’ll wear a shearling jacket.
