Seems like alot of people are D3's here. And Id second those opinions. Plethora of reasons. But D3 all the way for home cook, and if they were prepared to spend $on a D5, ask for some Diori rubber spatulas with the money saved. Those are a great addition to any pan collection. I've had those for almost 5 years now as well.

I know alot of people are suggesting aeron. And it is a great chair. But it is definitely more work oriented. Hard to slouch or sit cross legged in it. I recommend the staples 'Hyken' mesh chair. And its in your price range
