Bingo! I grew up in and currently live in NYC. These guys trying to tell me their Asian food is amazing. Flushing Queens would like to have a word with them. I hate NYC, like fucking hate it. But the food is amazing. And I love RI, I'd kill to be able to move back, but the food is mostly bad. And I've lived way more places than most people, all over the country, so I'd like to think I've got a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about.

No they wouldn't. Because RI's Asian food is bad. It got better since my first year there for sure when there was only a few sushi places in the entire state. But it is by no means diverse or very good. I've lived in 8 states. RI being the second longest of those. And while not the worst, def not good either. It's got great Italian food and seafood, best I've had. But everything else is a big nope.

Leave RI. I lived there for 13 years, and while I absolutely love RI, outside of seafood and Italian food, there is nothing else good there food wise. Definitely no good bagels.
