My sister had her wedding there. It’s ok. A true wedding factory so they don’t exactly cater to your individual preferences. Service overall was decent. Food was good. Facility was nice. I personally would not host a wedding at this place but very few places in CT can hold 350+.

I used to row on the river for crew. Current is VERY strong in certain parts. Undertow is real. Would not recommend. Also the river itself is kinda meh.

Seat geek or Stubhub is your best. But last I checked cheapest seats were $100+ before fees. Maybe hit up a bar downtown
