Yes, I understand your concern, however, the company that we buy our raw material from recycles to scrap into new base material. So, actually, the medium and material is fairly environmentally neutral.

Yes! We will hard coat the foam. This large tea cup is actually the base for a table. Once it’s hard coated, we’ll put on a glass top. It will also be painted to look like a porcelain teacup.

I do scenic carpentry for an events company. We use a hotwire machine to make our larger props. This is a giant tea cup to be used as a table base in an Alice in Wonderland themed event.

Thank you for the link! I don’t watch anime, although I believe that’s some thing from the matrix franchise, right? Very cool, not a direct inspiration, but very very cool.

Although it was never meant to be scary, but rather a celebration of Janice’s music in my mind’s eye, I do appreciate the feedback. I don’t make a living as an artist; I do many other things, but I do believe that the only effective art is art that attracts some sort of emotive attention. A horror movie is scary, a sad song make you cry. Art isn’t art unless it evokes something within the viewer.

Sorry, didn’t mean to preach. Didn’t mean to terrify you, either. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Yes, I see your link. I understand reference photo is as well. Please notice that in none of your photos Janice has spinning rainbows around her head…
