This bot needs some tuning…

Being on a motorcycle you really notice how many people are on their phone and distracted. Only the thinking goes from “I hope this person doesn’t hit me and bangup my car” to “I hope this person doesn’t veer into me and end my life.”

Article makes it sound like the Jeep driver pulled out of the parking lot and killed this guy. Ride safe out there folks, especially early in the season when drivers aren’t looking for you and/or everyone is on their phones anyway.

Whatever it is for, I’m sure some marketing group was paid handsomely for this brilliant effort.

Just curious, is the issue you think everyone should be allowed to get off there or that you think it shouldn’t stop there at all?

FYI if I recall correctly you can join any one of their Participating Organizations as a member (eg Reach out For Schools for $10) which will allow you to join DCU. So basically $10 to join DCU. It’s all spelled out on the oage listing their member eligibility overview.

My experience interviewing with Harvard for a couple roles over the years and dealing with their HR has been that they pay new hires at the bottom end of the given range. It even says that on their website: “Typically a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range.”

Especially if you’re a recent grad…if the 053 salary range is 50k to 78k you’re likely looking at an offer of sub 60kish unless you’re coming in with some highly relevant experience or a couple years under your belt. Again just my limited experience dealing with them. That said push for the highest you can get.
