Xbox series s runs upscaled 4K at 120fps, or comfortably runs at native 1440p, my friend has never noticed a dip in resolution and he has had a series s since launch day, i personally have a Xbox series x and comfortably run at native 4K 120fps on very demanding titles, I dont know what performance breakdowns you watched, but I’ve had my series x for 6 months and have noticed no dips.

They generally have less processing power for a cheaper price because the company had to fit hardware into a machine smaller then the ps5 and they will have to cut corners, generally with processing power, also he already bought a ps5, and probably opened and played with it, lowering its value, if he sells it, then he won’t get back 100% of the money he bought it for.

Edit: they aren’t more power efficient, power efficiency is a metric of how much processing speed you can get for the amount of electricity you are using, slim consoles use less power sure, but only because they have lower processing speed.

No, the Series X runs at Native 4K, Series S runs at upscaled 4K, also, it works with monitors, so you can buy a $500 dollar monitor and $500 console, or you can buy a $1000 dollar PC and a $500 dollar monitor, also 90% of new Xbox games support 4K 120 fps for a similar gaming experience to a $1000 pc, the choice is clear to me

That’s a completely valid opinion, and I can completely see where your coming from, I honestly got more enjoyment out of building my PC than just buying my Xbox, but my PC also cost around the same price, and it is much less powerful, I agree, for a lot of gamers pc is the way to go, but I don’t think that was OP’s question, he wanted to know if he should switch from PlayStation to Xbox, and I personally think you can get a lot of enjoyment from both pc and Xbox, and it ultimately depends on what kind of gamer you are.

That is completely untrue, first of all, I bought the Xbox series x for $600 cad, and it can easily run 4K 120fps games, while a pc for the same price can only run either 4K at 60fps or 1080p at 120fps comfortably, while it’s true that a $5000 dollar PC will run much better than any console, PC isn’t the be all end all gaming machine, if you only want to drop $600 cad on a gaming machine, console is the way to go. I have both a PC and a Xbox Series X, and I use my Xbox Series X way more, also game pass in much more expansive on the Xbox then on PC.
