Ya I’m pretty obsessed with it so far. I would say if you’re having a hard time finding the QK75 you should check out the Keychron Q1 Pro. Checks very similar boxes.

Yes I made the same mistake as others. When you open up an unlabeled box with deep black Gateron switches it’s easy to make the oil king mistake. I didn’t know what the discernible differences were until shortly after my post. Found there is a little circular dimple on the KS3 not on the oils. Also I couldn’t find any info on google mentioning the differences you provided. Not saying it’s not true just wasn’t able to find that info.

Alright so I think these are the Gateron KS3 Blacks. There is a small circular indent on the opposite side of the logo.

That's what I'm thinking. There wasn't anything in the box saying explicitly what they are. If they are oil kings then I'm pumped!

I bought some mystery bags from Novelkeys. Ordered 4 bags and received the following.

Need your help. Are these for sure oil kings? How can you tell the difference between oil kings and say Gateron KS3 Blacks?

Either way I’m not mad at the lottery. $15/bag ain’t too bad of a deal.
