Don’t pay any rent or contribute a thing until the value of that money is all used up. Your sister likely does have some sort of problem - drugs, drinking, or gambling. You won’t get the money back. Let your parents know this has happened so they don’t send any money her way as it too might go missing. Find a way to cover your finances asap! Could you end up on the streets if sis is not paying rent?

If she won’t text a picture of her with a child it’s highly unlikely she even has one. My kids aren’t on any social media but texting photos isn’t a privacy concern!

The equality of she runs her business, ensures the kid is clothed and fed, and runs the household while he pays part of the household finances. That’s not equality.
