If kids ask questions, they should get honest answers. They understand (or are capable of understanding) a lot more than most adults give them credit for -- as long as you're willing to answer a lot of questions and make a decent effort with them. There's no need to hand out toys to distract them.

Sliders was such a fun show! I think this would be a great candidate.

They don’t have their money in banks because they can’t. Since marijuana is still illegal at the federal level, most federally insured banks can’t/won’t accept them as customers, and they can’t allow any marijuana-related transactions over their networks. That’s also why they’re cash-only.

However, they still have to pay federal taxes on the income.
