All the more reason to support the expansion of Overdose Prevention Centers! If folks have a safe place to go they‘ll be less likely to use in parks! Even if you disagree with consuming drugs, these centers save lives, collect syringe litter and reduce public drug use. There are two OPCs open in NYC already and they are showing amazing results. I would highly recommend getting involved in advocating for more of them to be open!! :)
