Did they charge you extra for all that "original vintage" internal dust?

Would one of those cheap, knock-off NES-on-a-chip all-in-one consoles with loads of games built in be a better idea for younger kids to begin with? The games are often simpler, your children might find those more enjoyable than a more complicated N64/PS5 game at this point in time...
