Guarded beaches are the worst.

They create very narrow swimming areas and prohibit you from swimming outside these areas.

They herd you in like cattle leaving vast parts of the beach unusable. And I have to pay for this privilege?

It feels so restrictive. Freedom in America is an illusion. You can't move without someone telling you what to do or giving you a ticket for violating some rule.

NJ has absolutely the most restrictive beaches in the country.

Malls get a bad rap, but I was thinking recently how great Malls could be.

It's an all weather gathering place, where you can get exercise, meet people and overall have a nice time. As climate gets more extreme, like summers being unbearably hot and winters just generally sucking, Malls seem like a pretty great option to have around.

And its generally correlates to price. So good districts are expensive, but an average district in NJ is better than a good district many places.

I think of it more like there are districts to avoid, usually more urban, but otherwise they are really good.

Imagine like hunter gatherers before weather predictions.

Day starts out like 50 degrees and you are out hunting and then by like 3 pm you are fighting frostbite and death.

The possible fixes include, better pay, better pay and better pay.

I don't care if they are on the higher end nationally, teachers have not had a significant raise in a decade and inflation is running at 10% a year and their health insurance contributions have increased by about the same.

Their real take home pay has declined as the demands on them have only increased.

Once we get that figured out, then we can talk about working conditions.

You can argue all you want about whether they "deserve" better pay, but you will continue to see less and less teachers and qualifications continue to decline.

50k bond? Promoting prostitution and sexual assault? False imprisonment is a misdemeanor? What? Non of this is fitting for this level of crime.

What about felony kidnapping, rape and sex trafficking? This is a horrific series of crimes. Seems like none of these crimes is fitting for how fucked up this guy is. He should never be allowed out of a prison again.
