There is a website for rehoming dogs called Adoptadog.com you can list dogs on there, pictures, their preferences as far as if they are good with cats, other dogs, and kids. If they are disabled or have allergies. Their age etc. And then if people are interested you can interview them so to speak to you can decide if they are a good family or match. You can set times to meet the propel etc. I have helped re-home 2 dogs on this website. It's really awesome. It's free to upload pictures whoever adopts the dog has to pay a re-homing fee to contribute to the website.
As far as dog supplies I would go to yard and estate sales for cheap stuff.
