Any good tailor will still gently inquire the same of a new customer.
Not that it matters in the actual fitting or hemming of pants, just a courteous avoidance of the manhood in measuring.

Maybe not. I take a synthetic hormone daily which 100's of millions of people worldwide depend on. It has been on the market for more than 30 years.
And it costs only $10 cash out-of-pocket (no insurance) for a 90 day supply - cheaper than one lunch at a fast-food restaurant.
Market competition can produce remarkable results.

Long stories short: Ethanol can both potentiate and suppress agonist-induced Ca(2+)-dependent vasoconstriction.
IOW: Low levels appear to help calcium in enhancing blood flow, while high levels seem to strip calcium levels causing all sorts of ill effects.

Which is extraordinarily bad law.
Carving out exceptions for favoritism violates the spirit and intent of the law: specifically, an even playing field.
But IMHO it's no surprise that a Constitutional Monarchy elected (pun intended) to illegally bypass prior constitutional law in order to favor a tiny minority. Par for the course in UK history and politics: Fuck the public good to serve an entitlement which should have died off centuries ago.
