Boo hoo I don't give a shit about parking spaces. Bike path is infinitely healthier for the city and more sustainable. Cars do jack shit to support the city as a social space. They're geometrically inefficient, take up tons of fucking space (Notice how you didn't mention how hundreds of parking spaces take up tons of square footage that could be used for literally anything more important?), are alienating as hell, and as the infrastructure grows to support more cars, it supports less people. Bike paths are the exact opposite of this. They're a massively social activity, is much cheaper to get into, is inherently healthy for the individual, takes up far less space than giant fucking cars, and, yknow, can't have high speed collisions or threaten high speed collisions against normal ass people walking around the city.
