That's until the weather gets a bit nicer. Then it'll be packed all day long. That said, there's a nice 1.5 mile loop if you go up past the pool and right. I sometimes run up there and my kids widfe their bikes. It'd be good for rollerblading, though I'd be wary of grit on some of the downhills.

That's averaged, but you don't hear average noise all day. You hear quiet most of the time then periodic loud bursts from the planes.

You could try to hop on Next Door for that area and ask. In theory this is the kind of thing that platform is good for...if you can sort through the general idiocy, spam, and bigotry.

Don't live there but have friends who do. It's loud, and moderately frequent. I could live with it, but I like airplanes. My wife said she'd never move there due to the noise.
I say pick a random day and hang out in the area. See how much the noise bothers you and whether or not you're able to start ignoring it.

Had my wedding at valley brook country club near Southpointe and it's a very nice venue that holds that number of people well. Expensive though, and you need someone who is a member to sponsor you.

In my family it's a rule that we use this for pina coladas on vacation. Other cream of coconut products, like the one in the white squeeze bottle, are poor imitations.

I need some snow at Boyce so we can teach my kids to ski without spending 2 grand for the weekend.

McTighe's on rt8 like we do every year. Got ours the weekend before Thanksgiving. I fully expect it to be kindling by the week of Christmas.
Tree is nice enough but it was $100 for an 8 foot fraser fir tree. Shit's expensive. My parents just spent $300 in an artificial tree that'll pay for itself in 2 years based on the size they usually get. If I didn't have kids I think I'd go artificial.

Anthony's in Miracle Mile is decent too. A little expensive but the food is good.

I can't wait to never see a bike on the highland park bridge again. Makes so me goddamn nervous just being careful around them but then I also worry that someone who hates bikers is going to run them over while I have to watch.

I've got a 12" cube cooler and my wife and older two kids and I can pack lunch for everyone in there pretty easily. Might need a second one for drinks but I feel like it's plenty of space for a single person.
That said, if you go multiple times or go on really hot days those refill cups are terrific and alleviate needing to bring water. Got them with our season passes last year and it was much better than our usual lugging around a dozen water bottles in the stroller.
