Yeah, probably about 4 hours into it. It's not about the difficulty, just the extreme amount of health basic enemies have that makes kratos and party members feel silly weak.

Big brain. I never considered that.

Yeah, I've upgraded both weapons once so far. The regular enemies are definitely the issue for me. I feel like they have gobs of health.

Gotcha. It's not about difficulty, I like games difficult generally. I remember beating GOW 3 on the hardest mode... Multiple times. I kind of just want to go play that one again instead. Haha.
Kratos and the other characters just feel really weak, and that doesn't feel fun to me. I don't like when my party of 3 is pummeling one basic enemy for 10 seconds. It's almost comical how weak these gods of war are, at least in the beginning areas.

I'm sad now. Will I be more sad? Equally as sad?

I really enjoyed the first one. I thought it was pretty amazing. I was stoked to get this one, and it's the only ps5 game I own. But I guess my tastes have just changed. Something similar happened when the last of us part 2 came out. I got about an hour into that.

I did enjoy that one. I think I may have just grown out of this type of game. It feels like a chore.
