Technically correct, which is the best kind of correct. OP's thesis is that you share your male ancestors with a greater number of contemporary humans than your female ancestors.

Doesn't work as an analogy a 100%. The feudal peasants were stuck for life with whatever noble owned the land they were born on, while I get to chose which modern day robber baron to pledge my keyboard to in exchange for a tiny fraction of the spoils.
Getting born is absolutely a lottery, though, as most of your future success is a function of familial social status and genetic makeup you end up with.
