For me the only stand-out late season was 12, when the villains went from being angels and demons to just… the English. Such a weird choice but I enjoyed the change.

I used to show friends who weren’t sure if they’d like the show 3 episodes: Mystery Spot, Ghostfacers, and French Mistake. Always a big hit.

It has a very quiet, semi-tragic conclusion that I appreciate a lot more as an adult than I did as a kid.

There are a lot of good episodes in seasons 1-2, but I’ve always felt like the writers strike forcing a shorter season 3 was hugely beneficial. Made them cut out any filler and focus more on the larger plot.
Season 3 also gave us Ghostfacers, so on that alone it’s my favorite.
