Ever wonder how a Chipotle can run out of things .... just watch the staff in the back for a while. I mean come on?

Run out of rice?

I mean they had rice, just not cooked.

The two employees in the back, the ones who prepare rice and other things were playing games. .... They also ran out of chips.

I am a biker .... dirt biker as a kid in Baltimore City and grew up to ride bikes on the roads.

I can almost guarantee you that, you could build the best off road dirt bike area in the city, but the illegal riding would continue. Not every would have access to this new area, as it would be illegal to ride there.

I remember one BCPD officer who caught us coming out of the woods alongside Nortwood Elementary School said .... " don't you dare let me catch you riding that bike on the street, I do not even want to see you sitting on it, coasting down the street. Now push that bike home! "

I had just come out of the woods, hit a bump and got some air when I saw the cop car. He motioned me to come over, and started the encounter by saying .......

" Now tell me you were NOT riding that bike out of the woods! " I knew he was being real cool and was going to give us a break.

yeah and if you follow the news ....

the trouble is spreading, but at least it looks like they are trying to take action in Towson to nip it in the bud.

I am pretty much driving in a new area a county or two away. If a ride takes me into the city, I take it but go offline on the way so I won't get calls where I don't want them.

I am fortunate and do not really have to do this as I am retired military.

The problem is I enjoy driving too much.

I drive for a living somewhat. Uber/Lyft etc.

The city is not what it was say 6 years back when I started. I find myself making pickups and dropoffs with my head on a swivel.

I used to enjoy it a lot, but now have to be more cautious than ever.

I used to go to work to 'get out of the house' ......

Now it seems like I can't wait to get back home.

I have actually cut my driving hours back quite a bit.

Maybe you missed all those reports in the past of people being assaulted for no reason on public transit. I know they were working on the problem, but I am sure it is still on everyones minds at times.

Then there are the random bystanders getting shot just walking down some street, or standing on the corner. (maybe waiting for a bus)

I admit to being a bit jaded ..... I am the rare Uber/Lyft drivers with two bullet holes in the back of his car. Cost me $1,000 to get that repaired correctly.
