If you’re into traditional history, there are great places like Newport, the old forts in Jamestown. If you’re into more occult history, explore the parts of Providence frequented by Lovecraft or visit Mercy Brown’s grave in Exeter. If you enjoy local music, Providence and other towns have great clubs for independent rock and jazz. If art is your thing, the RISD museum has amazing original pieces.

It sounds like you pay for gas by usage. I also have a gas furnace and water heater an a few years ago I switched to the payment plan, so instead of the bill jumping up and down depending on the temps I pay an average of $110 per month all year long.

It’s the Providence Zen Center and their Sunday morning meditation class is great- they’re very accepting.
