You can also just bend the hinges with an adjustable (Crescent) wrench.

I don't think there's any way to actually determine the spin rate (day length) of exoplanets at this time so they would be talking about Earth days.
Also planets near stars are easier to spot so a super-short orbit is expected.
It can just be confusing which days we're talking about.

Technically Venus goes through years faster than days (less than a Venus day per Venus year).
I know you're referencing Earth days when talking about the planet in the article, but it has days too!

Well the New York Metropolitan area (what all looks like the same city from a plane) has more people than:
Wyoming
Vermont
Alaska
North Dakota
South Dakota
Delaware
Rhode Island
Montana
Maine
New Hampshire
Hawaii
West Virginia
Idaho
Nebraska
and New Mexico
...combined. It's gonna take up some space.

No, it's not. The percentage would be different for everyone - and it could change everyday.
If you don't want to set things in fire in order to keep your house warm then anything more efficient than resistive heating is good.

Mine is still 100%+ efficient at -22F (-30C).

Those look like the standard weather strips that just pull out of the groove and can be purchased at any home improvement/hardware store.
