Unfortunately not all venders updates the progress of their GBs to the same degree, so I find that you usually have to cross check a bunch of venders, if that doesn't work I check the geekhack GB thread for the set, and if that doesn't go anywhere I see if the designer has a discord and go there.

As for GMK Lavender itself, like people have said it's being shipped right now (my vender for the set, Ashkeebs, is currently shipping it). I actually expected the set to ship much later in the year but GMK has been doing well chugging through their backlog. If you're worried I suggest you talk to your vender, I know you don't want to bother them but they're really your only point of contact for what you have bought so just go ahead and do it next time. The worst they can do is ghost you.

I'm just sad that this was such an expensive set and apparently no one stepped up to make sure everything was properly matched. Hello the customers aren't tossing money at designers for fun, they're paying for a product. They can make excuses all they want about internal woes, but it's their responsibility to deal with all of that when they run these GBs.

[edit after reading full chat] People defending Ren in the discord are hard coping. When I opened this set irl, it was very clear on first glance something was wrong. 3 of the 4 colors were pretty good but the "lavender" one was no where near accurate so much that it ruined the set for me. This isn't my first GB, I know what's realistic in renders vs irl colours, and this isn't it bro.

I have this set as well and I agree, QWERTY row is kind a bit washed out compared to the other colours. I keep looking at it thinking there must've been a better colour to use instead.

It's the lighting! I feel like it's a bit difficult to photograph because I've yet to see accurate photos of the set from other people either. The mods are indeed a bit darker than the renders, but just a tiny bit. I would say the set overall is around 98% accurate, the orange and light alphas are pretty much spot on. The mods are a smidge darker and slightly more cooler toned as well, which I personally like better as it gives off a "crisp wintery forest" feeling lol.

Happy to have provided you with some eyecandy then! I was very pleasantly surprised to see the deskmat match the keyset so closely. boneandbee really did a fantastic job colour matching, almost 1:1 with the renders!

Nothing fancy, but this was one of my most looked forward to combinations when I joined the community and was planning my "end game" builds. With GMK Fox shipping it has been completed. I'm only sad that my photography skills are lacking and does the set no justice.
