There's a karaoke bar on battlefield called Friends. On Wednesday nights (I think. It's once a week.) Before karaoke starts local musicians will get onstage and sing their own songs and tell the stories behind them. Also, karaoke is also a ton of fun, or you can play pool. I've met so many cool people there while deafening people with my horrific singing lol. Also, the Springfield Nature Center is a great way to get some exercise, enjoy the outdoors, and see some wildlife. It isn't exactly the best place to meet new people, but amazing for those days when you need to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

Property crime is more common here like other answers have said. I'd avoid commercial street and that entire neighborhood. It's known for violence, break ins, drugs, and prostitution. I live near battlefield and 65 and it's a pretty good neighborhood.

Every time I went there it was a bad experience, but I love the Alamo. The one bad thing is nobody can whisper Wehrenberg at the start of the movie. Remember that? Lol.

Its a good thing for everyone that chooses to partake! I'm interested to see if or when any changes happen.

I have Dr. Wortherspoon at Mercy and she was nice and answered all of my questions. However my labor was horrible. They induced me at 38 weeks because my son had failed an ultrasound test. I didn't want to be induced, but I was afraid so I let them do it. DO NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE! They also checked me by just ramming their hands all up in there and decided that I was failing to progress past a 5 and said I needed a C Section and an epidural which were both things I didn't want.

My son was okay and we immediately switched his pediatrician to Cox. Wherever you go, do NOT let the doctors bully you. I regret listening to them.
