Removing episodes that have blackface when they’re poking fun at the concept of blackface is so stupid. Always Sunny in particular is mocking the stupid characters who find it acceptable and constantly pointing out that it’s racist. Same goes with RDJ in Tropic Thunder. That’s a brilliant use of blackface to poke fun at both the absurd nature of method acting and also Hollywood in general.

Yeah I like having everything in one place, so if I like a show on, say, Prime, I’ll usually watch it there first (because if I like a show and have legal access I want the service to know I watched it) and then download it later so I have it on my Plex server with every other show and movie I like and may want to re-watch at some point.

I think it's already stolen the zombie apocalypse crown from The Walking Dead. TWD has been terrible for the most part after the first season. It's had some fun moments, but overall the quality has been pretty low and the production values unimpressive. The Last of Us has more visual variety in single episodes than TWD did over full seasons, and is telling a better, tighter, more artistic story about a similar setting. It's more comparable to McCarthy's The Road than to The Walking Dead.

Nothing is going to take the pop culture crown from Game of Thrones any time soon. Everyone watched that show. My parents knew what it was, and had even seen episodes, although it was a bit too adult for their tastes.

It also took Game of Thrones a few seasons to build up the kind of momentum it did, and The Last of Us may only be looking at a three season run.

Also, most of the best shows ever are above characters who either exist in a morally gray area or who are outright bad people. Walter White started out somewhat morally gray and became an egomaniacal sociopath. Vic Mackey was a bad person who had some good qualities.

Tony Soprano, Omar Little (and most of the other characters from The Wire), Admiral Adama, Jaime Lannister…there’s a long list of TV characters who are or become protagonists that do morally questionable and sometimes awful things, and the vast majority of us are capable of understanding that they are not solely good people.

Ben Affleck is amazing on the commentary track for Armageddon.

"'These guys may be astronauts, but they don't know jack about drilling.' What?!? How hard can it be? You point the drill at the ground and turn it on."

I think there's always going to be a demand for physical board games that you can sit and play with a group of people all in the same room. It's just a different experience from playing with a group of people online.

Video games will continue to evolve, but the type of people who want to get together and play Clue or Carcassonne or Secret Hitler will always exist, and I imagine tabletop RPGs will continue to exist as well because ultimately people want to hang out with each other in person and have a good time. Technology may eventually have an impact on how some of these games look in physical form, but they'll still exist.
