There's a place near me that has a bunch of health/ wellness services like cryotherapy, infrared sauna, red light therapy, compression therapy, etc. Where you can either pay per service, buy a package, or buy an unlimited membership. I enjoy it.

I go to a place that charges $20 per session. Can you find a place and try them out? I personally think it's a glorious way to spend $20 every now and then but with space constraints I am not sure I would want to store my own compression equipment.
Or can you spend it on services like a massage package?

I got some after visiting family who had them. Quite frankly Costco charisma towels are MAGICAL.

I was just coming to say hobo. I have a Rachel that's over 15 years old and I love it. I can't recommend their bags though... thought the quality would translate and sadly it does not.

Reply to BIFL Dutch oven: Le Creuset vs Lodge by DesignerAccount
I use Lodge cast iron skillets and have a le Creuset Dutch oven and braiser... I based my decision to get Le Creuset for the enameled pieces based on seeing how my mother in law's looked after 30 years of hard cooking. The inside of hers is discolored but has no cracking, chipping or anything else. I am surprised people are saying Staub is less expensive because they're comparable prices where I was shopping. Staub looked really nice too but the le creuset pans I was looking at were actually slightly less expensive (like $20) and I liked the colors better. If you're talking buy it for life, I think the colors matters because you're going to be looking at it a long time so it makes sense to spend on something you absolutely love.

Too funny, I've been debating the same thing!! I just used my mom's D3 to cook Thanksgiving dinner and I see absolutely no need to get D5 now. It's plenty heavy and I can't imagine paying extra to deal with something heavier.

Yeah, i could see the space efficiency being a challenge. I think it depends on the layout of your freezer. I have a drawer in my freezer that they fit perfectly in. It's like they made the drawer specifically for these jars.

I've had a few crack on me. The key is to not fill above the shoulder of the jar and leave the lid off until it's frozen, then cover it. And stick to the 16 Oz or smaller. The 32 Oz have a much higher failure rate. In terms of bang for the buck, nothing beats the canning jars for food storage.

I would get Dansko clogs and just designate a pair for house or indoor use only.
