I have the thin too, I actually got a tear in the id window after seven years. I emailed to ask about repair instructions and they just asked me what color I wanted my new one to be. So now my kid has a wallet!

I've heard the same, although I'm kind of on the fence about the complaints. They shifted to using leather with visible scars and defects and that ticked a bunch of people off. They see it as paying the same price for a lower quality item. Including those marks doesn't affect the strength or durability of the leather, so to my mind it both adds uniqueness and results in less waste.

I'm just happy that I never have to buy a satchel again. This thing is part of my life story now and I can always count on it.

I'll get some more pics tomorrow. I'm glad people appreciate it!

People with these bags tend to talk about them a lot. The fact that mine is ten years old and has seen use is maybe a little unique but otherwise I figure the bifl community spends a lot of time hearing about them.
