Just a heads up: Westminster Garage closes for a lunch hour, so definitely check that before you go so you don’t end up waiting around forever.

Reply to LPT Request: Dealing with neck pain for the past 3 days, what should I do next? What can I do in the future to prevent this? by DaisyClaims
I have chronic neck and occiput pain that is slowly improving as I focus on my posture. I had luck with this deep stretch video. Also, to work on my forward head carriage I do “Ws” which are taught here at 5:44. The stretches helped relieve the neck pain and the Ws helps prevent it. Good luck!

Our versions of “don’t really care” are very different. My car gets washed when it rains, plus maybe three times yearly of actual soap and a sponge, and the rust just adds character. In the past I have tried to care for so many cars, and no matter my effort, the rust just finds a way. ::sigh::

I would stick with O’Reilly. You’ll have better hours than at Walmart, plus you will have a lot less stress and craziness around all the big retail holidays. To me that alone is worth the lower base pay.

I would never get out of bed though. If I had to get up and be immediately faced with the worst part of my day I would just lay in bed for as long as possible.

You’re amazing. Even just calling to schedule that type of appointment takes a lot of bravery. And to actually still go to that appointment after realizing your mistake? I’m impressed. I’ve been dealing with similar issues for YEARS and I finally have an appointment for next week. Thank you for the warning. I will avoid kiwis that day.

I would probably end up calling him Tea. But of course that doesn’t sound anything like Earl. :) Early Bird is really cute though, I say to stick with that.

Reply to LPT request: How do I overcome the freedom and anxiety of having to begin a new day? by itgoesdownandup
My advice to to schedule time during the day to do something you enjoy, even if just for a short while. That may help lessen the difficulty of pulling yourself away from it at night to go sleep.
I am not a morning person at all so this next tip has never worked for me, but some people schedule the thing they like to do most for in the morning so that they are excited to wake up and do it.

Acton has a great library and a Discovery Museum for the kids.

I never count on getting a large tax return. It is low because you are getting all your money as you make it instead of letting the government hang onto it interest free until you file for your returns. I consider this a good thing.

Reply to LPT: When buying potato or tortilla chips, firmly squeeze the bag. If it slowly loses air pressure, your chips will likely be stale. by [deleted]
I used to work in retail merchandising and would see vendors loading the chips bags onto the shelves. Some would actually poke them with pins in order to let out some air and fit more of their product onto the shelves.

Well, thankfully I got to enjoy the warmth for a bit before coming in to do laundry and realizing my basement flooded. Now I know what I’ll be doing the rest of the day. Yay New England!

Of course they can, have you seen what they charge for their stuff? A $9 bottle of NyQuil is $16 at CVS. Their price mark-ups are ridiculous.

There’s a bike path behind the skating rink if you’re interested in taking a little walk to sit on a bench in the cover of some fall foliage.

Ah yes, I was assuming the east portion applied to the second question too. Lanesborough is definitely farther from Worcester than Middleboro is.
