I got a print of Phipps from Buildings by Shane and I really love it. He's got tons of cool buildings.

Riverstone Books in Squirrel Hill and McCandless Crossing. Very friendly and they do a ton of custom orders if they don't have what you need but you want to shop local.
For yarn goodness, McWalker Yarns is having a huge small business Saturday event, and I love Yarns by Design and Sewickley Yarns too. I'm not sure what their SBS plans are though.

Wife and I went to Lake Forest Gardens in Fombell last year based on advice of this sub. We had a good experience (though we bought pre-cut) and the prices seemed fairly reasonable. They had a snack bar and wreaths and other things too. It's a bit of a hike but worth it. If there's kids, it's worth stopping at Baldinger's for them, or going to the Zelie airport and watching planes. Plus there's a couple of decent restaurants up there.

PSL is the main rec sports league. There's also Stonewall if you're of the limp wrist persuasion.

My wife's tire got popped by one of these once. We submitted a 311 that it had blown a tire and it was fixed in a day or two.
