Some of the scariest places I can imagine.
Water rests on the top, melting downwards trying to reach the bottom, when it reaches it, it breaks through and makes a river on top that leads to a hole that goes sometimes hundreds of feet to the bottom.
Imagine swimming in this peaceful blue glacial water(ice worms btw) and then you hear 'crack'. Suddenly your gentle blue pool is a massive toilet about to take you for a ride to the bottom, never to be seen again.

Exactly. Don't ever be one of the people who wants to eat glacial ice or put it in your drink.
