I see that you bought one great choice this is the second time I have owned an xbox and PlayStation in the same gen (last one was ps3 and xbox 360) I hated my xbox then this time around I'm so happy I got the xbox something for every member of the family forza for the kids skyrim for my girl. I dabble in and out (until starfield) but I love my PlayStation still PlayStation plus is starting to lose its appeal cos of gamepass

I am a dad and I own both the PS5 and XBox Series X. I initially got the PS5 on launch date. My intention was to buy a series S when Bethesda was acquisitiond by Microsoft and realising that I have a 4k TV and that I probably wouldn't play the S due to the limited specs of the series S. To your question it depends on how you value PlayStation exclusives, unlike XBox game pass PlayStation don't release their XBox games on their service. I've not paid for a single game for the XBox apart from gamepass. But be prepared to shell out over £50-£70 per game.

I got both, the xbox was an afterthought. When Bethesda was purchased by Microsoft I said for months I was going to buy an S and last minute while purchasing online I got the series X I use both equally PlayStation mainly because of my huge back catalogue of ps + games from the ps4 but xbox gamepass is amazing the s may be an option for you if money is an issue. But I would again urge you to try to own both or stick with the PlayStation its an amazing console I'd seriously miss mine if I had to sell it

I was on a similar situation I already had the PlayStation 5 I was all going to get an xbox the thing that swayed me was with the series s being less powerful would I really play it? I have a 60 inch 4k TV I felt that I'd be less inclined to play a series s over my PlayStation I eventually shelled out for the series x and I feel I made the right decision although xbox game pass is a must. Don't count out the ps5 it's an amazing console haptic feedback and the new psvr 2 is looking impressive.

I have both ps5 for the haptic feedback the controller is the star of the show. But x box gamepass trumps ps+ every time even with ps+ premium.
