Yeah but I assume that even if iOS 17 doesn't support the 8 Plus, I will be able to update to the latest iOS 16? At some point I will upgrade my iPhone, but right now it's stable and it does everything I want it to. I feel the same about iOS 15, which is why I don't want to update. I like everything being stable.

Thanks for the link! I'm looking through the instructions and it seems pretty complicated, a little out of my league these days 😂 I will have a ponder but most likely I will stay on 15.6.3 for a bit and then bite the bullet when I have to update to 16.3.

Well if we’re talking about features and not security, I have yet to see anything in iOS 16 that’s useful to me. Although I’ve not checked out the updates to Focus, so will definitely look into that.

I agree about security, but some updates that add features do have a tendency to destabilise them. Especially point-zero releases. I should hope 16 is pretty stable in general by now, but like I mentioned before, my partner is having random issues with Mail since updating.

I keep my iOS 15 updated to the latest for security fixes. New iOS versions don’t always mean more stability. My partner updated and sometimes has weird things happen in Mail, for example.
