Why do people with vanity plates or company signs on their vehicles draw attention to themselves? It seems so foolish when their plates/signs are so memorable.

College friend had a diet coke delivered by a pizza place. That particular pizza place had an agreement with our college dining services, so they accepted college dining hall credits. This friend would order a coke or just a cookie to his off-campus housing all the time. I'm not sure how that pizza chain made money off of it.

Energy Sage is a good resource and is linked to by towns, the state, and fed as a good resource for exploring solar panels.

To add, I would never, ever do business with someone that knocked on my door. Maybe if I got an estimate from them and three other companies and a ton of customer reviews.

I used energy sage and a company that provided a proposal through them. Very happy with the support and work.

Our pre-school teacher went full silent treatment to us when we had a friendly, respectful discussion with the administration about the teacher not addressing another student hitting our kid.

I'd be mindful of blowback to your kid in addressing this. I'm glad we addressed our issue, and we ended up moving our kid out early of that pre-school into a summer camp before kindergarten.

Depending upon the punishment/discipline, you may just want to move your kid elsewhere. I doubt the teacher will change.

Anywhere close to Hartford doesn't make sense. Having just driven back from NYC through Hartford, there's no way I would want to do that on a consistent basis. Even only a few times a month. If that frequency needed to increase, that would be very painful.

Hospitals near the New Haven area are excellent, and you could still head into NYC if needed.

Towns mentioned in Fairfield County should be the primary target.

I got paid ~$11/hr to sell harbor bars while watching a Sting concert there. Would love a few more gigs like that.

Alot of great concert memories there. Just the threat of a Guns and Roses concert was enough to shut it down. 😞

I went to the UConn club seats at the civic center a couple of years ago. They had a nice buffet, drinks, etc. for a reasonable price. The game was fun and it made me very nostalgic for all of the whalers games I went to.

College hockey is definitely a fun alternative.
