It is hard to be against providing people with critically necessary medications.

That said, how much of this actually makes it to patients in need?

Also, how many of these are "lifestyle" drugs? I would like to see a breakdown by company and product.

This is a nice potential application of cell physiology, and I look forward to seeing what (if anything) eventually comes of it. But every new answer always raises even more new questions.

How effectively can this be targeted specifically to the cancer cells, rather than simply affecting all cells? (And does that matter, particularly if other affected cells are slower reproducers?)

And are there alternate or redundant (backup) mechanisms that may be normally dormant and may eventually regain function?

I love reading about basic science; so much can unfold from a single discovery!
