I see these at the thrift stores all the time. There’s a lot of them still in circulation.

I think he’s the best Star Wars villain yet, though Dedra Meero is growing on me.

Except mathematically it doesn’t matter which McDonald’s you go to because you’re still contributing to the overall average.

It’s hard to know for sure since there’s no citation for the data source. If it’s strictly based on self-reporting then the latter makes sense.

I wonder if the fact that it’s so tourism oriented brings up the alcohol figure, as they probably serve a large number of drinks to tourists. So the tourist consumption goes into the numerator but the tourist population doesn’t go into the denominator.

I vividly remember seeing this in the theater. There was word that there was a big twist but I hadn’t heard what it was. When it happened there were a lot of people who immediately walked out. I was amazed how fast they made that decision, got up and left.

It is, though.

In recent popular culture it was used as the name of a place in The Lego Movie and there was a best selling book with that name a couple years back.

I only included select countries with significantly disproportionate m/f ratios. Saudi Arabia was a bit skewed but not as much as these others. Iran was fairly normal.

Common usage or not, It’s technically correct per your own provided definition: “a person who resides outside their native country”. There is a mix of both laborers (lots) and professionals (some) in these countries, so I think it’s applicable. Defining the group simply as migrant laborers would be incorrect.
