I think it was a great lesson in empathy and I do recommend it to people I know read to learn and experience more of the world/humans.

I would not recommend to people who just read for fun/escapism.

I had a whole lot of feelings while I read it, but I don’t think I cried much if at all.

Like u/Geetright said not showing a physical symptom of an emotion, I.e crying, doesn’t mean you didn’t have that emotion.
