That just means they're closed this week(end). They're always closed Sunday and Monday. Great Texas style BBQ. Their sauce is a bit too sweet but since he knows how to smoke, you don't need sauce. They were open today when I drove by. He's a Longhorn so kinda frail, could just be a bit too cold. ;) l"l' 'l"l Boomer Sooner!

I'm with you actually but my wife loves crispy bacon so that's what we make. And I just dishwasher the rack which will probably garner even more downvotes.

Alright, I concede I misspoke but have you ever tried it on a rack? I have always got a crispier bacon on rack vs pan. Plus the added benefit of not being saturated in fat. If that's what you want.

Baked bacon is awesome but you need to cook it on a rack so it's not stewing in it's own juices. Will not get crispy this way.

I've seen this episode before. You should just let this lie and also be leery of any nefarious looking gas station owners especially if there's a12-year old with face tattoos.

Reply to Property owners of NJ, what has your experience been like finding and working with contractors recently? Is the nationwide labor shortage noticeable labor in your area? by [deleted]
Central Jersey architect/GC here. Subcontractors are busy but no real issue finding people to do the work. Prices have been normalizing, too. If you can, order everything and have as much as you can on site before you start, don't create any excuses for gaps in construction on your end. Make sure you get a construction schedule and ideally a selection schedule, too, before you sign with anyone. Try and choose people who are local, I'm turning down almost any construction related work that's more than 30 minutes from my house. There's enough work where I don't need to spend two hours a day in a car, I'm sure I'm not alone.
