There are multiple dentists at this office, but I believe the primary one is Dr. Andrew Paek (I think he is the only one licensed to do Invisalign too, but I'm not 100% about this).

I did my Invisalign here and had a higher price (~$5K) but am seconding an overall positive experience. The staff is super professional, a lot of things have been digitized (appointment, forms, etc.) and very easy to get both dental + orthodontics covered in the same place.

They have a few locations in NYC that I've been into. Kind of like Daiso, but more expensive and generally better quality products. Lots of skincare/beauty products, food/snacks, and various household items like bowls and plates, silverware, cooking utensils, etc.

Alterations to Go is great. They've done a great job on some pretty minor alterations on pants I needed hemmed and tapered in addition to a full job tailoring a bridesmaids dress that was probably 2-3 sizes too big for me.

The "we're going to make it sound exclusive and pretentious so we can jack up drink prices but in actuality, we want everyone here to help our profit margin" pitch? Pretty sure it's not just your age.

If you're in the area, Mitsuwa Marketplace in Fort Lee is an incredible Japanese supermarket, and they also carry some Chinese and Korean products as well. Their food court is worth a trip in and of itself, esp for Santouka Ramen.

With those reqs you'll definitely need to make concessions on the building type (luxury high rise vs. duplex/brownstone) or location. Bergen Lafayette/West Side may have options that'll work for you, or even The Heights. I'm not too familiar with Journal Square but you'd likely need to look into areas farther out from the PATH.

El Sazon has some pretty good options, including daily specials that are at / around $10. I'm also a fan of their Cubano sandwich which is on their regular menu.

Their produce quality is A+ and reasonably priced. I also love just walking down the snack, ramen, and frozen food aisles to find something new to try.

Thank you for the additional info! I've passed by their location several times and they seem like a great organization. Will give them a call tomorrow to see if they're accepting in-person volunteers!

Hi! I'm not the OP but also interested in volunteer opps - I went to the YSP website and couldn't find a specific page or section on volunteering (most links directed me to various donation or gifting pages). I'm not sure if you'd know or currently work/volunteer there, but would we need to call in to ask specifically about volunteering?

Jiang Nan serves a pretty solid version. If you're willing to travel though, definitely recommend Decoy or Hutong in NYC.

Thank you for sharing! I'm a longtime JCPL subscriber and have definitely benefitted from all the new and expanded digital services that have been offered!
For those who are also looking to donate, please check with your employer if they offer donation matching!

Oliva's and Sprove are also options closer to the Grove St PATH. Oliva's is a bit smaller and more bodega-like (although still pretty large given the 2 floors) but have later hours than Lee's.
