Stainless steel or reinforced glass are my materials of choice for portable beverage containers. Heavier, but non-reactive so there is little need to worry about leeching material.
Aluminum and BPA both leach material over time
Stainless steel does too (very little, though), but iron in water is a supplement rather than a toxin
