So let's give it all to more police, prisons, private developers, etc? OK to throw money at the problem in those cases? Funding for public education is down across the country, which is part of why our country gets less and less competitive on the world stage every year. Redoing these buildings will create good jobs in the trades, then URI itself will create more jobs in these buildings, and the research and training that comes out of the buildings will be invaluable for years. This is how you invest in actually creating a thriving state and country.

just write STOP and you'll be opted out. it's one of the few ways for campaigns to reach people. we unfortunately have extremely low voter turnout in this state and country.

They're both awful. McKee is less awful. Show up and vote in the primaries next time so we can get better candidates!

Seth unfortunately doesn't support any of those policies I named. He's obviously still way better than Fung and we need to get him in office, but he's not doing much to court the youth vote.

Dems need candidates who actually appeal to young voters. Candidates who support medicare for all, green new deal, student debt relief, etc. Unfortunately, the Dems at the top of the ticket this nov in RI aren't talking about any of these issues.

it's fine, there's a lot of very nice parts. like everyone else in RI/the world, there's many different parts of the town.
