You have to fluff them

I recommend Pacific Coast for down anything. Agree, thread count isn’t important as you will have it in a duvet. Focus on the duvet for organic cotton regardless of from where.

Can you do an extra rinse or open the door (if it’s top loading) and letting them soak before washing?

Also a side/stomach sleeper and I love my down pillow. Have had it for a few years now-just fluff it regularly. Love I can adjust it based on my position.

Libraries are great for ebooks! Get her a card at a local one or get one from a big city in your area.

I think for classical authors, KJV is the gold standard. If you need clarification, the website that does various versions side by side can be useful.

Lots of vintage stores. Check good neighborhoods! Good luck

Is vintage an option?

Have you tried hitting up vintage stores and/or sites? An older wool or camel coat in good condition is probably a superior construction if you can find your size/color. Always check the tags for details on construction and make sure it fits with your bulkiest sweater.

The disillusionment and alienation was so visceral. Holding up a façade and losing everything in the process. It was an amazing read!
