Sounds like you were auto-enrolled into Mass Health and thats why your connector care was canceled. You can call connectorcare (best of luck to you) and inquire about attempting to recover the plan. But I would recommend going down to Advocacy for Health programs and speak with someone. They are usually affiliated with hospitals and have people certified in navigating health connector and mass health.

I was able to cancel my health connector plan, of 6 years, this month because I finally have a full time job with insurance benefits (hurray!) And I always spoke with an adocate to make sure I was in the right bracket.

I am vibing with this. I used to shop at our super walmart but did not feel I was getting the best quality of foods. Big Y is expensive(3.50 for a can of campbell soup?!) unless you go exclusively for one of 10 for 10 sales. Price Chopper/Market 32 is further away, more congested, and their flyer/prices seem to follow Stop and Shops, i fucking love their food bar tho. We got another small brand store that is the closest (>2miles) but the selection does not include everything our family eats. Stop and Shop seems to have the most of what every one eats. So less time traveling between stores and I feel better about food we are eatting.

For us, we live in a slight food desert so either I'm driving 25mins north or south for grocery shopping🤷🏼‍♀️

That being said, fuck all these prices😭 its been like 550$ a month on groceries. Man, I remember when I would spend 220$ for a full cart😫

100% there is going to be more waste dumped on back roads and other spots. My towns transfer station is only open 2 days a week for like 4 hours. They posted a note that they will not be taking mattresses but the transfer station 3 towns away will take it if you have a sticker. Like what the fuck. Its a good idea but there is no logistics to support it.
