No capacity issues. To be honest, many folks are now working at home so there’s plenty of parking throughout the day.

Amherst is nice and all, but there isn’t much downtown. Yes, there are restaurants and small shops, but it’s limited. Better to have a car in some ways, but the PVTA is reliable for the most part. Many businesses have closed in recent years and the town is making way for new condos left and right. It’s crazy. If I had to pick, I’d recommend Northampton - more shops, restaurants, and things to do. However, Northampton isn’t getting cheap either.

UML has a stronger CS program than UMB.
BHCC is a community college, so it’s different from a 4-year school like UMB. It’s still a great option because it’s affordable and it has MassTransfer which allows for a more streamlined process to transfer from BHCC to any 4-year state institution.
