But this is super depressing to me, to be honest. I make about 40k and I guess to be able to afford an average market rate apartment I’m going to need to find a significant other that makes over 100k, or 2-3 other of “me” to be housemates (or polygamists) with.

I just touch my device so often throughout the day that I want to enjoy the texture and design.

I haven’t ever had it pop out, but I had the X, then the 11 Pro, and now the 13 Pro Max (my first with the flat sides, which for all I know makes the popping-out more possible for some) and have always used an Apple Leather case. I start to get worried about the popping-out when the corners degrade though.

I dislike the feeling of plastic, so even though they only last about two years before I inevitably degrade the corners, it’s the Apple Leather Cases with metal buttons for me. But about once a month I get jealous when I see someone going naked or with the clear case (a fresh one not yellow yet lol).
