Thank you for sharing! I was a bystander intervention trainer in college (though the focus was preventing sexual assault) and even simple things can help! Like causing a distraction or going up to the person being harassed and “catching up” with them like they’re an old friend.

I believe they’re talking about the plan to knock down Macy’s and build up apartments, with the bottom floor being a currently unknown grocery store. Construction hasn’t started yet. Anyone in Philly on this sub that has also lived in Arlington, VA? Possibly moving from Ballston neighborhood up to Philly and we really like the idea of Manayunk, where we could have a backyard for our dog for the same price as what we pay here for a 1BR apartment. We are wondering how you’d compare the two neighborhoods! Thanks!
