You asked if you were overreacting and whether you should just shut up and pay the ticket.

  1. How is it not about the money? Your post is predicated on the question of whether or not you can fight this. There is no other penalty involved than the fines you'll need to pay. It's not as though you're attempting to plea down some points on your license. You've admitted that you do not check your car every day so there is no way to know if the signs were posted with the appropriate 48 hours notice.

  2. You're correct that I'm making some assumptions based on the information you've provided that you, "work from home, so I'll often leave my car in the same place for a few days in a row until I have to move it for street cleaning."

I do own a bike, but also a car. I also do not need my car with significant frequency, but I don't complain when I leave it unattended for multiple days and get hit with a parking ticket because I know the alternative is paying $250+/month for space in a garage.

Just an fyi on flocktown, they definitely oversold memberships with regard to their crop yield. The idea of picking what’s in your box is nice, but you effectively have to set an alarm for 10am on Saturday to have a 2-3 minute window to race through their web store before any swap items will become sold out.

This wasn’t an issue two years ago and the choices were much more varied. It was primarily a bunch of different types of greens for much of this year.

If they get their act together this year then they’re worth it, especially for the $1-2 per order doorstop delivery. Other csas either charge more for that or require you to pick up at a central location like the farmers market at the path.

I'm a fan of any kind of activity that isn't solely based around eating/drinking as we're severely lacking.

That said, prices seem about 1.5x of what I'd be willing to pay based on what exists on their site. I'll reserve full judgment and decision until there is more clarity on the actual substance of the offerings.

Try Night Intro Class - $75 (I'd give it a go at maybe $50 if it's a few hours long and I walk away with something I've crafted).

Date Night for Two - $150 (same here, maybe $100 and we're in).

Four Week Class - $295 (why am I only saving $5 vs 4x the intro class?)
