Weather is always more serious on Fridays. Especially on Fridays before long weekends or vacations.

The main roads and highways are usually ok, slight delays if everyones driving carefully, more delayed if traffic gets stuck behind a snowplow. Side roads will be a disaster but that's why so many people have AWD vehicles and 4WD pickups.
